The 4th Single by A Cappella Group 'Doo-Wop Sounds' – "I Hear Your Voice"

As the second of four tracks unveiled through the solo concert 'Doo-Wop Sounds Night of Literature' held in the winter of 2017, composer PiLO wrote the music and lyrics, and Doo-Wop Sounds' alto Lim Lee-rang took charge of the arrangement. Composer PiLO proposed working on this song to Doo-Wop Sounds with the thought, 'It would be great if a song with the title 'I Hear Your Voice' could truly be produced using only voices.'

A song containing the agony of being unable to break free from the voice of a loved one, the overall full and magnificent sound, which could not be heard in previous singles, is impressive. The lingering hook line pursued by the team and the solos of the colorful trio transition every moment of the song into a different scene.

두왑사운즈의 네 번째 싱글 ‘목소리가 들려'

지난 2017년 겨울에 있었던 단독공연 ‘두왑사운즈 문학의 밤’을 통해 발표된 네 곡 중 두 번째 작품으로, 작곡가 PiLO가 곡과 가사를 쓰고, 두왑사운즈의 알토 임이랑이 편곡을 맡았다. 작곡가 PiLO는 “‘목소리가 들려’ 라는 제목에 정말 목소리만으로 노래를 연출할 수 있다면 좋겠다’라는 생각에 두왑사운즈에게 이 곡의 작업을 제안했다.

사랑하는 사람의 목소리에서 벗어날 수 없는 괴로움을 담은 곡으로 이전 싱글에선 들어볼 수 없던 전체적으로 꽉찬 웅장한 사운드가 인상적이다. 팀이 추구하는 귓가에 맴도는 훅라인과 컬러풀한 트리오들의 솔로들이 노래의 매 순간을 다른 장면으로 전환시킨다.
