The Album by A Cappella Group 'Unison' – "Unison"
Unison is a gathering of family members striving together using the tool of a cappella to sing of God.
- Singing of God: We believe that striving for the One who granted our talents with those very talents is, in a way, a very natural and precious duty. Just as a child's playful charms bring joy to parents, we pray that our lacking songs may bring joy before God. - A cappella: We wished to become a small nourishment in the extremely barren soil of Korean a cappella.
In a situation where not a single thing has been properly accumulated—whether it is know-how in songwriting and arranging for a cappella, singers with their own distinct vocal techniques, or production conditions for recording and mixing—we hold the conviction that the trial and error experienced by Unison will help contribute to the overall development of our a cappella.
- Family: Everyone who participated in Unison is family. It has been a precious time spent relying on each other, trusting one another, and making up for each other's shortcomings. This tight bond among family members becomes a great strength in presenting our results to the outside world.
유니즌은 신을 노래하기 위해 아카펠라라는 도구로 함께 노력하는 식구들의 모임입니다.
- 신을 노래 : 허락받은 재주로 다시 허락하신 분을 위해 노력하는 것 자체가 어찌 보면 너무나 당연하고도 소중한 의무라고 생각합니다. 아이의 재롱이 부모를 기쁘게 하듯 우리의 부족한 노래가 신 앞에 기쁨이 되기를 기도합니다. - 아카펠라 : 너무나 척박한 한국 아카펠라의 토양에 작은 밑거름이 되고자 했습니다.
아카펠라를 위한 작편곡의 노하우나 나름의 창법을 지닌 가수, 녹음이나 믹싱의 제작 여건.. 어느 하나 제대로 축적된 것이 없는 상황에서 유니즌이 겪는 시행착오가 전체적인 우리 아카펠라의 발전에 기여하는데 도움이 되리라는 확신을 가져봅니다.
- 가족 : 유니즌에서 참여한 모든 이들은 가족입니다. 서로가 의지가 되었고 서로를 신뢰하며 나름의 미비한 점들을 보완해가며 보낸 소중한 시간입니다. 이러한 가족들간의 끈끈함은 밖으로 우리의 결과를 내보이는데 큰 힘이 되는 것입니다.
