The Future of Korean A Cappella: 'School of Aca' (한국 아카펠라의 미래, 스쿨오브아카)
There are several a cappella-related organizations in Korea.
Among them, the organization that is actively engaged in education is
‘Korea A Cappella Education Research Association’.
Every year, they tour different regions hosting festivals,
and they also produce albums sung by teachers.
Among these projects,
under the name
‘School of Aca’,
they produce a cappella albums sung by students!!!
This year, a total of 11 student teams participated.

08 Melody of the Wind (Seoul Singye Elementary School)
09 Half Moon (Pyeongchang Bongpyeong Elementary School)
10 Jeong Junayo (Mokpo Maria High School)
11 Show (Inje Injenam Elementary School)
‘Joeun A Cappella’ collaborated on this album.
(CEO Kim Joo-ho, who has worked with them since the 1st album, is said to have founded the company.)
At the association, Teacher Kim Seung-ho takes charge and smoothly leads the album production every year.
I wholeheartedly cheer on the achievements of student a cappella clubs across regions and schools nationwide, hoping they become even more vibrant and can be shared with everyone!!

한국에는 여러 아카펠라 관련 단체들이 있습니다.
그중에서도 교육과 관련해서 활발한 활동을 하는 단체가 바로
‘한국아카펠라교육연구회’ 입니다.
해마다 지역을 순회하며 페스티벌도 열고,
선생님들이 부른 음반도 만들고 있고요.
그중에서도 ‘스쿨오브아카’라는 이름으로
학생들이 부른 아카펠라 음반을 만들어내고 있지요!!!

이번 음반은 ‘좋은아카펠라’가 함께 했습니다.
(1집부터 계속 함께하던 김주호 대표님이 회사를 차렸다지요)

전국 지역과 학교에 이렇게 학생아카펠라 동아리의 결과가
점점 더 활발해지고 모두가 나눌수 있게 되기를 크게 크게 응원합니다!!
