5-member contemporary voice band EXIT, who plays and sings only with their mouths, is an indie voice band officially invited as the Korean representative to the '2014 Vocal Asia Gwangju Asian A Cappella Festival,' having higher recognition overseas than domestically. EXIT is a team that rapidly emerged as UCC stars in 2010 by recording over 100,000 views on UCC videos and ranking 1st in monthly views, and are promising artists interviewed in Daum Music's 'Discovery of Indie' (http://music.daum.net/musicbar/musicbar/detail?menu_id=10&board_id=3142) in 2012. In 2013, they are a talented voice band that performed collaboration stages with idol groups FTISLAND and SECRET at the MBC DMZ Peace Concert, and their mini EP album to be released this time is scheduled to be released as digital audio and physical album on August 12, 2014.

EXIT's music this time is filled with tracks where lyrics and rhymes stand out, and is composed of music created to reduce public resistance rather than giving the conventional feel of a cappella. In particular, 'Solo Since Birth' and 'Put It Down' are songs with great freshness, standing out with humorous elements on subject matters anyone in the general public can relate to, while also conveying an earnest feeling. And 'Beautiful' and 'Star' are impressively composed with delightful and refreshing lyrics and melodies that are difficult for male vocals to deliver. 'Small Head Boy' and 'Why Are You Doing This' are tracks with a funky feel that makes the body move while feeling like a friendly neighborhood older brother. Although the songs are fundamentally composed of a cappella, they are not heavy and can simultaneously offer empathy, healing, and fun when heard, comprising songs for an ambitious album designed to surprise the ears of the public and show that a cappella can cross over like this. It is composed of music that enables the public to shed heavy prejudices against basic a cappella through diverse and crossover expressions, filled with songs in which all members of EXIT participated. In addition, for music production, they worked with Taek-dong (T2 PRODUCTIONS), who was in charge of producing and arranging China's Rockappella, and worked musically with Masahiro Ikumi, the music producer of Japan's most successful a cappella group 'RAG FAIR,' delivering a new revolution of a cappella that could not be encountered in the Korean market. Furthermore, another interesting fact is that the ideas and composition throughout the entire album stand out greatly. Starting from the jacket image, the use of colors rarely used in the domestic record industry and the use of the term 'Ear Strike' carry very unique meanings, and the packaging structure using a slide zipper bag makes it a standout album that will elevate its rare collectible value.

온리(only) 주둥이로만 연주하고 노래하는 5인조 컨텐포러리 보이스밴드 엑시트(EXIT), “2014 보컬아시아 광주 아시아 아카펠라 페스티벌”에 한국대표 공식 초청된 팀으로, 국내보다는 해외에서의 인지도가 높은 인디보이스밴드이다. 엑시트(EXIT)는 2010년, UCC동영상 10만건 이상 조회수를 기록하며 월간 조회수 1위를 기록하는 UCC 스타로 급부상한 팀으로, 2012년 다음뮤직에서 인디의 발견 http://music.daum.net/musicbar/musicbar/detail?menu_id=10&board_id=3142)에서 인터뷰한 유망주들이다. 2013년에는 MBC DMZ평화콘서트에서 아이돌 그룹 FT아일랜드와 시크릿과 콜라보레이션 무대를 같이한 실력파 보이스 밴드이며, 이번에 발매하는 그들의 미니EP앨범은 음원과 음반은 2014년 08월 12일 발매를 할 예정이다.

이번 엑시트의 음악은 가사, 라임이 독보이는 곡들로 채워져 있으며, 아카펠라라는 느낌보다는 대중적으로 거부감이 줄게 만들어낸 음악으로 구성되어 있다. 특히나 ‘모태솔로’나 ‘내려놔요’는 대중이라면 누구나가 공감할만한 소재로 재미적인 요소가 돋보이면서 간절한 느낌까지 전달하고 있어 신선함이 큰 노래들이다. 그리고 ‘뷰리플’, ‘스타’는 남자보컬이 주기 힘든 즐겁고 상큼한 가사와 멜로디가 인상적으로 구성되어 있다. ‘소두아이’와 ‘왜이래’는 옆집 친근한 오빠같으면서도 펑키한 느낌이 몸을 들썩이게 하는 음악이다. 본 바탕이 아카펠라로 구성이 된 노래들이지만, 무겁지 않고 들었을 때 공감과 힐링, 재미를 동시에 줄 수 있다는 점에서 대중들의 귀를 놀라게 만들고 아카펠라가 이렇게 크로스오버 될 수 있다는 것을 보여주기 위한 야심 찬 앨범의 노래들로 구성하였다. 아카펠라의 다양하고도 크로스오버된 느낌과 표현이 기본의 아카펠라에 대한 대중의 무거운 편견을 버릴 수 있도록 해줄 음악으로 구성되어 있으며, 엑시트 전원이 참여한 곡들로 채워져 있다. 또한 음악제작을 위해 중국 락카펠라의 프로듀싱 및 편곡을 맡았던 택동(T2 PRODUCTONS)과 작업 진행하고, 일본에서 가장 성공적인 아카펠라 그룹 ‘라그페어’의 음악 프로듀서인 마사히로 이쿠미와의 음악작업을 통해 한국시장에서 접할 수 없던 아카펠라의 새로운 혁명을 선사할 것이다. 또 한 한 가지 더 흥미로운 사실은 앨범 전체가 아이디어와 구성이 매우 돋보인다는 점이다. 자켓의 이미지부터 국내 음반계에서는 잘 사용하지 않는 색감을 이용했다는 점과 ‘Ear Strike’라는 단어를 사용하고 있다는 점이 매우 독특한 의미를 담고 있으며 슬라이드지퍼백을 이용한 포장구성이 매우 돋보이는 앨범으로 희귀적인 소장가치를 올릴 수 있을 것이다.
